THE MOUNTAIN RESCUE SERVICES IN THE ALPINE TERRAIN PERFORM THEIR RESCUE SERVICE ON A NON-PROFIT, HONORARY AND VOLUNTARY BASIS.
ORGANIZATION
The Upper Austria Mountain Rescue Service is a non-profit association. The mountain rescuers do their work on a voluntary basis.

TRAINING
The training in the mountain rescue service in Upper Austria has continued to develop and has become more and more extensive. It is important that every member of a rescue team is highly trained. In an emergency, anyone can very quickly get into situations that demand the full potential of knowledge and skills. Then everyone must be able to rely on the other and trust him or her unconditionally.
For this to work, a uniform and comprehensive training is the basis of the Bergrettung Oberösterreich.
